James "Matt" Mason

James “Matt” Mason, 50, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on April 8, 2023. He was born on June 21, 1972 in Wynne, Arkansas to James Wilson Mason and Shirley Weaver Mason. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing video games with his family, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include; mother: Shirley Mason of Wynne, Arkansas; one son: Shawn Mason of Wynne, Arkansas; one daughter: Brittany Foote (Paul) of Wynne, Arkansas; two sisters: Donna Sharp of Wynne, Arkansas and Kathy Kellum (William) of Wynne, Arkansas; one brother: Mark Mason (Christy) of Cherry Valley, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Landon Foote and Kayden Foote; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his father: James Wilson Mason. Pallbearers: Jonathan Ragan, Shawn Mason, Paul Foote, Sammy Kirkendall, Brian Utley, Damian Mattis, Peyton Grimes and Will Kellum. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Farm Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
