Barbara Jean Ishmael, 80, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at her home on March 2, 2023. She was born in Trumann, Arkansas on August 13, 1942 to Joe Alexander and Queenie Bell Faulk Alexander. She was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, dancing, taking care of her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; husband: Sammy Ishmael of Marked Tree, Arkansas; one son: Rodney Glenn Stevens of Trumann, Arkansas; one daughter: Tracy McDaniel-Jones (Darrell) of Trumann, Arkansas; daughter-in-law: Unha Stevens of Georgia; five grandchildren: Shai McDaniel, Megan Isbell, Courtney Stevens, Lisa Stevens, Kayla Stevens; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents; Joe Alexander and Queenie Faulk Alexander; two sons: Timothy Allen Stevens and Randy Scott Stevens; two brothers; and five sisters. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Ricky Forbis officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
