Stacy Lea Collins
July 2, 1974 - February 27, 2023

Stacy Lea Collins, 48, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on February 27, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1974 in Glendale, California to Harvey Collins and Patricia Amos Collins. Stacy resided at David E. Puryear Center for 28 years, she loved being there and loved the staff and residents as they all loved her. She enjoyed going to Burger King, bowling, coloring, collecting pens, paper, and markers, going to the lake, loving on her sister’s dog “Lucy” and the occasional sip of wine, and giving a toast while having her wine. She was a very happy soul! Survivors include; her parents: Harvey and Patricia Collins of the home; one sister: Cyndi Ball (Ben) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one nephew: Christopher Pinkston of Jonesboro, Arkansas; brother-in -law (Ben’s) mother: Joan Martin Ball; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her grandparents: George and Hattie Collins. The family will be having a memorial service at Cooper Alumni Center on ASU Campus at a later date.

    On behalf of my daughter Amber Redd we were sad to hear of Stacy passing. Amber goes to The Learning Center where we meet your daughter. My son and I was at the bowling center when she got sick and was picked up. We did not think she was so ill so was sad she passed away. Our thoughts go out to your family.
