Owen Leon Coffel, Jr., 81, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at his home on February 23, 2023. He was born on January 17, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan to Owen Coffel, Sr. and Eva England Coffel. He was a proud Navy Veteran. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed reading western books, crafting leather, drawing, building guns, and spending time with his many grandchildren. Survivors include; loving wife: Geneva A. Coffel of the home; three sons: Jeffrey Lynn Coffel of West Plains, Missouri, Charles Dewey Coffel of Harrah, Oklahoma, Christopher Ray Coffel of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three daughters: Barbara Marie Coffel of Dora, Missouri, Kimberly Ann McMurray of Cape Fair, Missouri, Christina Kay Coffel of Thayer, Missouri; four sisters: Linda Baker of Waterford, Michigan, Donna Baum of Ionia, Michigan, Carolyn Brown of Thayer, Missouri, Sharon Lloyd; twenty grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Owen Leon Coffel, Sr. and Eva Coffel; grandparents: James D. Coffel and Florence Coffel; one brother: Jimmy D. Coffel; and two sisters: Marilyn Fast and Loretta Sawyer. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
