Jerry Henry

Mr. Jerry D. Henry, 72, passed away December 24, 2014 at the Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Morris and Vernie Smith Henry. He was an Army artillery veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Henry enjoyed fishing and hunting and just driving the backroads. Survivors include one son: Joey Henry of Caraway, Arkansas, one daughter: Angie McQuay of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: David Smith of Trumann, Arkansas, and Gary Don Smith of Caraway, Arkansas; three sisters: Phyllis Long of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Glenda Sands and Janet Brewer both of Caraway, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Tera Jo Gray, Kody McCullar, Sevin Henry, Anna Kay Henry, Michael McQuay,Jr., Maddie Davis, Jerry Dakle (Bug) Henry, Izabel Henry, and Pippa Henry; 3 great grandchildren: Aiden Gray, Jazz McCullar and Carson Gray. Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Katrina Henry, and one brother: Morrell (Smokey) Mangrum. Visitation will be Monday, December 29, 2014, 6-8 pm at First Baptist church, Caraway, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Caraway, Arkansas with Bro. Mike Martin officiating, burial will be in the Nettleton cemetery, Nettleton, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Phillip Gray, Peewee Johnson, Bobby Sands, John Carmichael, Greg McAnally, Walter Gatlin, Chris Hartis and Todd Huckabee. Honorary pallbearers: Residents of Lakeside Nursing Center, Diane Carter, Brody Mc Claren, Nadine Winstead, Dr. Scott Dickson and Frank Huckabee. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas will be in charge of funeral arrangements.
