Janie Evelyn Pugh Mosely

Mrs. Janie Evelyn Pugh Mosely, 88, of Steele, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Mrs. Mosely was born on June 14, 1926 in Kensett, Arkansas to the late Thomas H. and Gladys Louise Ausburn Pugh. Mrs. Mosely was a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Blytheville, Arkansas and was dedicated to serving the Lord. She taught Sunday School Classes for many years and was a teacher for World Bible School where she had students from all over the world. She never met a stranger and loved everyone and loved “hugs”. She worked side by side with her husband Charles farming and they were the owners/operator of Mosely’s Fish Farm. She was a computer whiz at Mahjong and Solitaire. Survivor include; one son: Charles H. Mosely and wife Joyce of Columbia, Kentucky; one daughter: Janie Singleton of Steele, Missouri; one grandson: Erin Mosely of Minot, North Dakota; three granddaughters: Angela Krout and husband Neil of Independence, Missouri; Shelly Nicholls of Little Rock, Arkansas and Cami Mosely of Little Rock, Arkansas; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Mosely was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Charles Mosely; eight brothers: James Franklin, Bobby, Herman, Sherrill, Jerrill, Kenneth, Rodger and Richard Pugh; two sisters: Evelyn Johnson and Dixie Ruth Tucker; one grandson: Kenneth Keith Roussel, III. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 am at Northside Church of Christ, Blytheville, Arkansas with Bro. James Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, Missouri under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the church from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
