Lawrence Vance Waddell, III

Lawrence Vance Waddell, III, age 57 of Imboden, Arkansas, passed away January 1, 2015 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born September 25, 1957 in Manila, Arkansas, he was the son of Lawrence Vance, Jr. and Iva Dell Downing Waddell and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Waddell was of the Methodist faith, was a master plumber owning his own business and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Waddell enjoyed watching baseball and playing baseball in his younger years and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his father: Lawrence Vance Waddell, Jr. of Imboden, Arkansas; one son: Lawrence Vance Waddell, IV of Galveston, Texas; one daughter: Taylor Waddell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one brother: Anthony Waddell and wife Margaret of Imboden, Arkansas; two sisters: Adella Bookout and husband Johnny of Smithville, Arkansas and Angela Perrin of Imboden, Arkansas. Mr. Waddell also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by his mother: Iva Downing Waddell; his wife: Tracie Waddell; one sister: Lilla Waddell; Maternal Grandparents: Melvin and Lilla Downing and Paternal grandparents: Lawrence and Addie Mae Collins Waddell, Sr. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family has requested in lieu of flowers any donations be made to the John 3:16 Ministries, 75 Holmes Road Charlotte, Arkansas 72522.
