Justin Lynn Manis, Jr. 17, of Lake City, Arkansas passed away on September 17, 2021. He was born on February 24, 2004 in Paragould, Arkansas to Justin and Brandy Manis. He was of the Baptist Faith and he enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and driving. He loved his dog Leo and his favorite saying was “ I got you”. Survivors include; his parents: Justin and Brandy of the home; three brothers: Bryan Manis, Christopher Manis, and Lucas Manis all of the home; his girlfriend: Estela Turner of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one grandfather: Jamie Healy of Mayflower, Arkansas; one great-grandfather: Arthur Broadmoor of St. Louis, Missouri; two uncles: James Healy (Destini) of Cabot, Arkansas and Curtis Manis of Lake City, Arkansas; three aunts: Paula Baker (Scotty) of Lake City, Arkansas, Devon Sawyer (William) of Lake City, Arkansas and Angela Hall of Lake City Arkansas; one great-uncle: Eddie Sowell (Anita) of Greenwood, Arkansas; one great aunt: Julie Smithson of Decatur, Alabama; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; two grandmothers: Anita Healy and Ollie Church; great-grandparents: Juanita Sowell and Edward Sowell; and one grandfather: Gaylon Manis. Paulbearers: Josiah Duke, Austin Presley, Austin Kee, Jeremey Hill, Hayden Brightwell, Eli “EJ” Langston, Trae Barnes, Avery Brannan, Gavin Anderson, and Tommy Cooper; Honorary Paulbearers: Morgan Manis and Riverside Class of 2022. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Lake City, Arkansas with Rev. Rick Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Lake City Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
