Walter Briley
September 28, 1936 - April 16, 2015

Mr. Walter J. Briley, age 78 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away April 16, 2015 at his home. Born September 28, 1936 in Manila, he was the son of the late Talmadge Eugene and Pauline Emily Wortham Briley and had been a longtime area resident. He was a United States Army Veteran, owned Briley's Body Shop in Manila and enjoyed woodworking and making duck calls. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Wanda Camp Briley of the home: one son: R.N. Briley of Manila, Arkansas; one sister: Kay Webb of Nashville, Tennesse: grandchildren: Chad Keller, Autumn Briley and Dustin Walter Briley all of Manila, Arkansas; one great-grandson: Braden Sharp. Mr. Briley also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Brenda Keller; a brother: Buddie Briley: two sisters: Joan Thomas and Barbara Hatley. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00am at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas with Bro. John Wayne Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
