Eloise Barnes
June 28, 1942 - February 2, 2021

Eloise Barnes, 78 of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at her home on February 2, 2021. She was born in Collinston, Louisiana on June 28, 1942 to Godfrey and Ella Eley. She was a member of the Christian Worship Center in Trumann, one of her biggest enjoyments was going to church, which she had not been able to that for the past few months, she enjoyed shopping, going to the ocean and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include; two daughters: Katheryn Barnes of the home and Teresa Martin of Trumann, Arkansas; two step-sons: Ronny Barnes of Houston, Texas and Terry Barnes (Tommie) of Lumberton, Texas; one step-daughter: Laura Rocha Vaz of Hanford, California; one sister: Maudia Dayton of the home; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her; parents: Godfrey and Ella Eley; two husbands: Buel Barnes and Kenneth Barnes; one son: Edward Barnes; one brother: Chancy “Bud” Wayne Eley. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Worship Center in Trumann with Pastor Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery, Brookland, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Due to COVID-19 19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a COVID-19 19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed, and social distancing will be observed.
