Laura Frances Gibbs

Laura Frances Gibbs, 83, passed away at her home in Bald Knob, Arkansas Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born December 16, 1937 in Paragould, Arkansas to William Thomas and Oaney Bell Merritt Oden. She was of the Pentecostal faith, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, enjoyed fishing, singing, and she loved her dog, Teddy. Survivors include; one son: Charles Burton (Carol Payton) of Yellville, Arkansas; one daughter: Shirley Gregory of Yellville, Arkansas; one sister: Bertie Theodorapoulas of Bald Knob, Arkansas; three grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband: Gallard A. Burton; one son: Melvin (Dewayne) Burton; six brothers: James, Edward (Ed), Larry, Bobby, Buck, Dewey Oden; two sisters: Lorene and Mary Oden. The family has requested a private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
