Jimmy Doyle Smith, 76 of Lake City, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born June 29, 1944 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Marvin and Edith Smith. He served in the United States National Guard, was a member of he Walnut Grove Baptist Church, collected antiques and toy tractors. Survivors include; four sons: Bryan Smith (Sandy) of Lake City, Arkansas, Michael Smith (Melissa) of Lepanto, Arkansas, Anthony Smith (Jennifer) of Lake City, Arkansas, Shaun Smith (Laura) of Lake City, Arkansas; two brothers: Larry Smith of Lake City, Arkansas, Kenneth Smith (Janice) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three sisters: Barbara Shurley (Virgil) of Lake City, Arkansas, Margaret Wright (John) of Lake City, Arkansas, Eileen Adams of Lake City, Arkansas; grandchildren: Makayla, Taylor (Catherine) Austin, MacCray, Hannah, Max, Emmalee, Maggie; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Paulette Smith; two brothers: Lynn and Charles Smith; two sisters: Norma Pierce and Jeanetta Bailey. Graveside service will be Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Leon Harvey officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila. Arkansas. Due to Covid 19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a Covid 19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed, and social distancing will be observed.
