Lou Vell Turney

Lou Vell Turney, 79, of Dell, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 24, 2020, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on July 12, 1941 to Troy and Vera (Peters) Towery in Saltillo, Mississippi. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Gosnell, Arkansas. She loved going to church, playing with her grandchildren, and sharing time with her many family and friends. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Nicole) Turney of Blytheville, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Hayden, Ian, Camden, and Paisley; one sister: Lou Pearl Turney of Brookland, Arkansas; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; One Sister: Lola Bell Turner; and her five Brothers: Charles, Cecil, James, Elbert, and Olen. In compliance with the Covid guidelines a mask or other facial covering is requires, a Covid acknowledgement form will be required to be signed and social distancing will be observed. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 11a.m. at Mississippi County Memorial Cemetery in Osceola, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Hyde officiating.
