Lucky Byron Rogers

Lucky Byron Curtis Rogers, III, 67, of Mammoth Spring, went to his heavenly home on Monday, August 28, 2017. Lucky was born in Peoria, Illinois on September 6, 1949 to the late Byron Curtis, Jr. and Frankye Rogers. He grew up hunting and roaming the woods in the Herman community of Jonesboro. Lucky was a retired pipefitter and a member of the Pipefitters Local Union # 155. He was an avid traditional bowhunter.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jay Rogers.He is survived by; his wife: Connie Rhea Rogers and daughter Adrianna Rogers both of the home; step-daughter: Callie (Adam) Partee of Jonesboro; one step-son: Casey (Brandi) Gibson of Bono; his precious granddaughter: Lindi Beth Partee (as her Poppy would say, “She’s something else.”); two sisters: Rita (Randy) Johnson and Angela (Danny) Dacus all of Jonesboro; step-mother: Ella Rogers of Jonesboro; in-laws: Roy and Linda Rhea of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.Services will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, Jonesboro with Rev. Tad Rogers officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Private burial under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
