Raymond Guthrie, Sr., 60, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away, Friday, July 10, 2020 At Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope, Arkansas. He was born November 4, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee to Ralph and Emma Jewel Brumley Guthrie. He was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed playing dominoes, he was a great father that loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include; three sons: Raymond Guthrie, Jr., Charles Tony Shealy, and Robert Retledgdge; one daughter: Jessica Guthrie; four grandchildren: Faith Guthrie, Patrick Shealy, Alexis Shealy and Jayden Shealy; five brothers: Earl, Donald, Roy, Thomas, and Eugene; one sister: Helen; many nieces and nephews, that he loved dearly; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; three brothers: Barney, James, and Jimmy Guthrie; two sisters: Lucille Banks and Nancy Foster. Graveside service will be Tuesday, July14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Pine Log Cemetery, Brookland, Arkansas with Pastor Eugene Guthrie officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Joey Orsborne, Jeff Lowery, Ron Guthrie, Ray Guthrie, Gregg Biggers, Ralph Guthrie. Honorary Pallbearers: Tim Garrett, Barney Guthrie, Kip Guthrie, Tony Guthrie. In compliance with Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial coverings are required, social distancing will be observed, and the signing of a Covid Acknowledgement form will be required.

    Raymond was an amazing guy. He helped everyone and he will be greatly missed. I have some great memories hanging out with him and my brother Tim and Peanut at his sisters house Lucile and cousins. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be at the funeral. I’m out of town. My prayers are with all the family.
