Gary Don Trainer
May 4, 1956 - July 6, 2020

Gary Don Trainer was born to Virgil and Catherine Trainer on May 4, 1956 and departed this life on July 6, 2020 at the age of 64 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Catherine Trainer, two brothers Steve Trainer and David Trainer, and one daughter, April Trainer. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara (Aldridge), one daughter Amanda Elliott (Drew), and 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Sophia Elliott. All residing in Kennett. After graduating Holcomb High School, Gary married Barbara Marie Aldridge on May 30, 1975 Gary was a proud paw-paw and loved spending time with his grandkids the most in life. He will be remembered by family and friends as a hard-working, honest man who always had a smile on his face. He loved attending the Heartland Dance on Thursday nights and gathering with friends to dance and laugh together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial service will be Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kennett Church of God, Kennett, Missouri with Pastor Zachary Rousell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements. Due to Covid 19 guidelines, face mask or other facial covering is required along with social distancing.
