Bill Gage

Bill Gage, 70, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1946 in Red Onion, Missouri to the late Roy Wesley and Lorean McEntire Gage. He was a member of the Family Fellowship Baptist Church and a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He performed country music and entertained with his vocals, guitar, and piano. He loved telling stories and jokes and never met a stranger. But his pride was his family and he loved each and everyone of them. Survivors include; his wife of 34 years: Judy Gage of the home; six children: Shannon Gage (Angie) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Karen Stotts (Jeff) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jennifer Caughron (Steve) of Batesville, Arkansas, Michael McKim (Heather) of Bryant, Arkansas, Marty McKim of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Michelle Palmer of Little Rock, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren; Kelsey James (David), Ashley Snider (Andy), Seth Gage, Haley Stotts, Amy Stotts, Darby Stotts, Lance Caughron, Lawson Caughron, Tristan Palmer, Garrett Palmer, Trey McKim, Aaron Kizer, Ashlin Kizer, Maycee McKim, and John Martin McKim; one great-granddaughter; Lydia James; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two brothers: J.C. and Milburn Gage.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Family Fellowship Baptist church with Pastor Mike Blackwood officiating and eulogy by Jerry Williams. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
