Stephen Dwayne Tyler, 66 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on June 2, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 4, 1954 in Oregon to Tommie and Betty (Gregson) Tyler. Steve was a man of God believing in the Baptist Faith. He had many passions such as cars, racing and spending time at the track with his brothers, nephews and friends. However, nothing could compare to his love for spending time with his family especially with his granddaughter Kilan (Boo). Their time spent together included walking across the bridge while in the yard and having many hours of endless conversations. Survivors include: one daughter: Halee (Greg) Partain of Harrisburg, Ark, and two sons; Chris & Michael Tyler of Michigan; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Siblings: Ann (Blondie) Guntharp of Ozark, Ark; Jeannie (Talley)Martin (Michael) of Jonesboro, Ark; Phil (Connie) Tyler of Jonesboro, Ark; Shelia (Eddie) Barber of Brandenton, FL; Brenda (Todd) Starr of Olive Branch, MS; Mark (Cammy) Tyler of Olive Branch, MS; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Tommie and Betty Tyler; his brother in-law Blondie James Guntharp and his nephew Tony Talley. The family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Services.
