John Ervin Bennett

John Ervin Bennett, 69, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Arlington Cove Healthcare. He was born on June 8, 1950 in Alabama to Virgil and Irene Brown Bennett. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann, Arkansas. He worked on a farm for several years and then became a truck driver. Survivors include; one brother: James Bennett (Denise) of Mendenhall, Mississippi; four sisters: Bernice May (Randil) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Agnes Reader of Eldorado, Arkansas, Freda Powell (Robby) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Wanda Peterson (Larry)of Eldorado, Arkansas; one sister-in-law and care giver: Alene Bennett Nix of Bay, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Virgil and Irene Bennett; his wife: Marsha Bennett, two brothers: Junior and Roy Bennett; and one sister: Sue May. Out of an abundance of caution for others and compliance with current health safety guidelines, there will be a private family graveside service with Bro. Kenneth Dokes officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
