Meryl Woods

Meryl Woods, 84, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Phil & Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born December 1, 1931 in Flora, Illinois to Ernie and Harriett Woods. He served in the United States Army and he was a member of the First United Methodist Church.Mr. Woods is survived by his wife: Louise Woods; two sons: Meryl Woods jr. and Rick Woods; one daughter: Maureen Hagen; two step daughters: Karen Horton, Mitzi Pilcher; one brother: Charles Woods; mother of his children: Edith Woods; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three step grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.Mr. Woods is preceded in death by: his parents; one son; one daughter; one brother and four sisters.The family request a private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
