Christopher Stanton Travis, 54 of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Chris was born June 25, 1965 in Piggott, Arkansas to Chester and Linda Travis. He loved fishing, spending time with his family, and driving backroads with his children. Chris was survived by his beloved wife: Melissa Travis, of the home; children: Cassandra Weaver, Timothy Travis , Noah Travis (Kala), and Corie Travis; mother: Linda Travis of Paragould, Arkansas; brother: Kevin Travis (Tina) of Marmaduke, Arkansas; Sisters: Teena Batten of Paragould, Arkansas, and Ann Dunlap (Kevin) Killeen, Texas; grandchildren: Lexi, Jaykob, Darrell, and Emily. He was preceded in death by; his father: Chester Stanton Travis; and sister: Kelly Jean Travis. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Church of God, 6 ½ and Locust Street, Paragould, Arkansas with Rev. David Clayton and Rev. Nathan Gramling officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Burial will be in Harveys Chapel Cemetery, Marmaduke, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Timothy Travis, Noah Travis, Corie Travis, Cody Mounce, Doug Lyell, Blake Travis. Honorary pallbearers: Ray Elinburg, Garrett Thompson, Chris Gramling.
