Joe Edward Goodson

Mr. Joe Edward Goodson, 70 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born May 16, 1946 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Truman and Lila Beck Goodson. He was owner operator of Goodson Landscaping for thirty years and drove a truck for Hack Pruitt. Mr. Goodson was of the Christian faith, he enjoyed mechanics, guns, music and had a great love for his dog, Butterscotch.Mr. Goodson is survived by three daughters: Tonja (Mark) Pruitt of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Candice (Ken) Bagley of Davis Junction, Illinois; Meloni Goodson of Paragould, Arkansas; one son: Truman Ray (Jenny) Goodson of Rockford, Illinois; three sisters: Joyce Smith of Bono, Arkansas; Peggy Hanks of Brookland, Arkansas; Pam Goodson of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one brother: Billy Ray Goodson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Goodson was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at The Freedom Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas
