John Edmisten, 85 of Caruthersville, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his home. He was born October 23, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Dee and Ana Mazon Edmisten. He enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. Survivors include; his wife: Elizabeth Edmisten of Caruthersville, Missouri; seven children: Wanda Edmisten of Louisiana; Wendy Edmisten of Maryland, John Edmisten, Jr. of Louisiana, Sharon Bigler of Louisiana, Suzette White of Louisiana, Mark Edmisten of Arkansas, and Carol Edmisten of Louisiana; two step children: Michael Craig of Missouri and Daniel Craig of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers: Jack Edmisten of Missouri and Jerry Edmisten of Arkansas; one sister: Patsy Donnahue of Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Dee and Ana Edmisten; three brothers: Robert Edmisten, Richard Edmisten, and Jimmy Lee Edmisten. Graveside service will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar View Cemetery in Huntsville, Arkansas, under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
