Brenda Carol Mungle
October 1, 1955 - November 8, 2019

Brenda Carol Mungle, 64, of Kennett, Missouri departed this life on November 7, 2019 at Piggott Community Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee to Omer Donald and Viola Maxine Hurst Short. She loved the Lord and was baptized at a young age by her dear father, Minister Donald Short. She loved to sing in church and in school chorus in choirs and concerts. She was a member of the Church of Christ and loved to hear her daddy preach and her mother sing. She loved working with people and helping them. She longed to become an RN but her health made her have to quit working early. She did become a CNA and worked many hours in Indianapolis Hospital taking care of elderly, young, infants, and middle-aged people. She loved giving of herself and making sure someone who was sick had a more cheerful day. She treated each and everyone like they were her own family. Many of them had no living family left. If she could put a smile on someone’s face and giving them good care as they endured much earthly pain meant a lot to her. She used to love to cook and make people smile too. The last years of her life she suffered daily great excruciating pain from illness’s. Thanks to the Lord above she is no longer in this terrible earthly pain. Her greatest joy in life was being blessed with two loving sons: Michael Brandon Mungle (Ashley) of Addison, Texas and Zachary Blake Mungle of Kennett, Missouri. She is also survived by: the father of her children: John Mungle; one brother: Stan Short of North Richland Hills, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents: Omer Donald and Viola Maxine Short; one brother: Donny Short; and her very dear mother-in-law: Barbara J. Mungle. In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, there will be no services.
