My dear friend, may you rest in peace. We had many a battle to followed by many a toast. I shall always caramelize my onions to your specification of "slithery". A shared meal is the kindling for the warmest conversation. It was my pleasure to have shared so many with you.

Dad there isn't much I can say without breaking down except I've always always loved you. You have had one brilliant life and I'm sorry the last 2/3 stopped you in your tracks . You have been the dad of all dads and always there when I needed to hear your voice , not sure how I will cope now you won't be.you are out of pain and free now. I know we both passionately belived in assisted dying and hope sheryl and I took the only decision that was right for you . If I'm half the person you were then I'm happy . Thank goodness you arranged for us to all meet one last time in jan or this would have been even harder. Hope you are with parents and brother now. Dad I love you so much and your passing has left one massive hole that can never be filled again xxx Goodnight slept tight daddy jojo xxx

I was one of Bob's therapist at Greene Acres during his last stay and the most recent. He never liked us calling him Mr. Butler and would get on to me anytime I called him that. He always called me and his other therapist Myra "my love" when we walked into his room and it always made me smile! He was a very motivated, kind, and intelligent person. I am very honored that I had the opportunity to know him. He always had some smart remark or funny joke to make us laugh! Recently when he started feeling bad Myra and I went into his room to see him for therapy and we could tell he wasn't feeling well and he had his music playing the oldies on his tv...Myra and I danced for him (not very well) and he just smiled at us and shook his head. We danced out of his room singing to him at the end of his therapy session. He is a patient I will never forget and I am so sorry to his sweet daughters and his family for their loss.
