Billy A. Carter, 70, of Marmaduke, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on September 22, 1949 in Lake City, Arkansas to Reo and Lorene Bynum Carter. He was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed working on small engines, farming, playing music, fishing, and hunting. Survivors include; his wife: JoElla Carter of the home; one son: Mark Allen Carter of the home; eight brothers: Clifton Carter (Margie) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Bobby Carter (Lou) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Gary Carter (Judy) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Donnie Carter (Brenda) of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Nicky Carter (Barbara) of Paragould, Arkansas, Roger Carter (Greg Bailey) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Tony Carter (Angie) of Rector, Arkansas, and Lucky Carter (Shyla) of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Patsy Merrell (Calvin) of Rector, Arkansas; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Reo and Lorene Carter; and one brother: Ricky Wayne Carter. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Marmaduke, Arkansas with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey’s Chapel under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Jason Carter, Daniel Carter, Elijah Carter, Zach Carter, Cliff Carter, and Michael Carter.
