Maxine Snell Wallin

Maxine Snell Wallin, 95 of Lepanto, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at The Marked Tree Nursing Home, Marked Tree, Arkansas. She was born October 19, 1923 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, to the late Edgar and Josie Hutchison Snell. She loved church and the congregational singing, loved her family and the “togetherness”, she was the rock that held the family together. She loved sports, especially all local high school sports. Survivors include, two daughters: Gaye Williams of Black Oak, Arkansas and Suzy Wynne (Phil) of Lepanto, Arkansas; three grandsons: Jeff Felkins (Sharla) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Billy McDaniel (Lacey) with a great-granddaughter Marley on the way of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Blake Wynne of Lepanto, Arkansas; two great grandchildren: Jacey Felkins of Clinton, Arkansas, Shaley Felkins of Mountain Home, Arkansas and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband: Bob Wallin; one daughter: Donna Knight; one sister: Martha Moss; four brothers: J.P. Snell, Hayes Snell, Reid Snell and Howard Snell. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Liberty Street Church of Christ in Marked Tree, Arkansas with Kenneth Gossett and Ronnie Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 p.m. until time for the service.
