Dave Pearson, Jr., 96, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away June 9, 2019 at the Craighead Nursing Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born August 7, 1922 in Caryville, Arkansas to Dave and Ollie (Renfroe) Pearson, Sr. He was a member of the New Haven Church of Christ, served his country in the US Navy Seabees during WWII, enjoyed playing country music on his guitar. Survivors include; one son: Tony Pearson (Karen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three sisters: Millie Duscombe (Rusty) of Fairfield, Illinois, Mary Ellen Moorehead of Elsinore, Missouri, Betty Jo Bowman of St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Shane Pearson, Kenna Gaylord, Cobie O’Donoghue, Erica Jensen, Denise Pearson, Cole Pearson, Paige White; one great-grandchild: Ryan; two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Stella Pearson; three brothers: Marion Pearson, Julian Pearson, Charlie Pearson; one sister: Imogen Hardy; two sons: Ken Pearson, Eric Pearson; one great-grandchild: Jacob. The family has requested private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
