Ishmul M "Bob" "Jake" Holt

Ishmul “Bob” “Jake” M. Holt, 72, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on January 13, 1944 in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late Otto Newton and Edna Mae Wallace Holt. Mr. Holt was a member of the First Assembly of God in Black Oak, Arkansas and served as the Sunday School Superintendent, a musician, and was an advisory board member. He was retired from the Craighead County Highway Department.Survivors include; his wife: Joyce Holt of the home; four children: Sheila Campbell(Terry) of Lake City, Arkansas, Michael Holt(Melodie) of Caraway, Arkansas, Dan Holt(Kerry) of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Kathy Campbell(Adrian) of Caraway, Arkansas; two brothers: Lonnie Holt(Betty) of Big Flat, Arkansas and J.D. Holt(Angie) of Cushman, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren: Brittney Brandon(Hunter), Tara Winford(Cole), Michael Nelson(Brooke), Emily Holt, Jake Holt, Spencer Pelowski(Paul), Sara Kochera(Andy), Alexis Holt, Ashley Holt, Taylor Holt, Ryan Frayer, and Rebekah Frayer; twelve great-grandchildren: Kendall, Kyleigh, Drake, River, Addie, Luna, Braylon, Autumn, Elsie, Adeline, Cole, Evan; Pendergrass family; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by; his parents: Otto and Edna Holt, two brothers: David and Charlie Holt; four sisters: Walsie, Hazel, Pauline, Lilly Mae; one son: David Monroe Holt; one grandson: Maddox Winford.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 am at the First Assembly of God, Black Oak, Arkansas with Bro. Floyd Porter and Bro. James Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the church from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Pallbearers: Shannon Brack, Brian Crews, Billy Pendergrass, John Pendergrass, Stephen Pendergrass, and Verlin Smith.
