Irene Velma Ladd

Irene Velma Ladd, 95 of Leachville, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Manila Nursing Center, Manila, Arkansas. She was born July 16, 1923 in Cardwell, Missouri to the late James Robert and Carrie Jane Wimberly Meredith. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Leachville, Arkansas, she enjoyed reading, piecing quilts, listening to gospel music, cooking and baking, especially cookies and cakes. Survivors include; two sons: James Allen Ladd (Virginia) of Granite City, Illinois and David Wayne Ladd of Leachville, Arkansas; two daughters: Carol Smith (Homer) of Leachville, Arkansas and Janet Cooper of Leachville, Arkansas; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents; her husband: Nuton Ladd; one daughter: Judith Faye Ladd; and two brothers: Lynn Meredith and Norman Meredith. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Leachville, Arkansas with Brother Newman officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Leachville Cemetery, Leachville, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Kevin Cooper, Brian Dawson, Keith Brandon, Michael Riba, Colby Turner, Michael Hattenhauer, and Michael Johnson.
