Michael Dillard

Michael Lee Dillard, 64, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on August 30, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 11, 1952 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Robert and Edna Dillard. He played drums with many bands in his earlier years, loved playing music, playing games with his son Matthew, and watching movies with his children.Survivors include; his children: Casei and Matthew Dillard of the home; one niece: Denise Dillard of Trumann, Arkansas; Special caregivers: Carl & Terri Whitlock of the home; other special caregivers: Alice McPherson and Mavis Campbell both of Trumann, Arkansas; two special friends: Freddie Kirksey and Rick Pillows.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd Thomas Dillard.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, Trumann, Arkansas with Bro. Austin Missey and Bro. Ricky Dobbins officiating. Freddie Kirksey and Rick Pillows will sing.

    I am so saddened to hear about Mike. I knew Mike in High School and often went to various places that Mike and Charles (Kirksey) were playing at on weekends. Mike was one of the nicest people I ever knew and he will be sorely missed by many. Rest in Peace my friend.
