Barbara Jo Marshall

Barbara Jo Marshall, 77 of Jonesboro, Arkansas went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born in Bono, Arkansas to Leighton and Edna Knight Holmes. She was a Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. Nana, as she was affectionately called, cared for and loved her family deeply. She is survived by a son: Richard Scott of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; two daughters: Sharon Scott of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Susan (Tony) Sharp of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one sister: Nita Dunham: two brothers: Larry and Gary Holmes; Five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Eddie Holmes. Service will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church Chapel, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Assistant Pastor Patty Soward officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery, Bono, Arkansas. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements. Online guest registry www.faithfuneralservice.net
