Willie Dee “Wild Bill” King, 76 of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home. He was born January 10, 1943 in Friendship, Tennessee to Dewitt and Ruby Harrison King. He had been a Constable and Police Officer in Crockett County, Tennessee, a Police Officer in Blytheville, Arkansas, owned a gas station/grocery store in Crockett County and Wild Bill’s Trading Post in Blytheville. He enjoyed Marble hunting and fishing. Survivors include; one son: Stacey King (Joyce) of Gadsden, Tennessee; two daughters: Tina Gray of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Dedi Redmon (Richard) of Holladay, Tennessee; six brothers: Jimmy King (Carolyn) of Centerville, Tennessee, Jerry King (Patsy) of Crockett Mills, Tennessee, Harold King, Tuffy King (Debra) of Alamo, Tennessee, Bobby Joe King (Joli) of Steele, Missouri, Billy Joe King (Renee) of Crockett, Mills, Tennessee; three sisters: Helen King of Bells, Tennessee, Brenda Ward (Jeff) of Crockett Mills, Tennessee and Gail Scully of Corinth, Mississippi, seven grandchildren: Keith King, Brittany Dilday, Mark Manley, Ashley Byrd, Stephanie Gray, April Nichols, Charlie King; eight great-grandchildren: Alivia King,Jaxon King, Logan Nichols, Macie Nichols, Aries Dilday, Zaeden Dilday, Evelyn Byrd, Hayden Manley; mother of Stacey and Dedi: Sharon Climer King; special friend and caregiver: Viola Smith of Blytheville, Arkansas; close loved one: Lesa Gio of Burdette, Arkansas and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Joelene Ulm King; two brothers: William and Bobby King; three sisters: Frances Smothers, Dimple Stewart and Opal Newell of Friendship, Tennessee. The family has requested private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Independent Church, 1860 Hwy 88, Alamo, Tennessee on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. for family and friends with Brother Jerry King officiating.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve known “Wild Bill” since the late 70’s when he had the Trading Post. I had the pleasure of waiting on him in the tax collectors where he was always joking and fussing, lol. He will be greatly missed.
