Ronald Leroy Lighthart

Mr. Ronald Leroy Lighthart, 63, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed away on July 31, 2015 at his home. Mr. Lighthart was born on December 25, 1951 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Herbert and Mary Watson Lighthart. Mr. Lighthart was of the Pentecostal Faith, worked as a tree climber for 22 years where he earned the nickname “Tree Monkey”, enjoyed golf, computer time, and spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include; four sons: Jeremy Lighthart of Rockford, Illinois, Jeremy Stone of Rolla, Missouri, Justin McGarlin of Georgia, and Carl McDaniel and wife Christy of Kennett, Missouri; three daughters: Stephanie Hopper and husband Billy of Senath, Missouri, Cassandria Lighthart and husband Brad of Newport, Arkansas, and Serena Kinder and husband Maston of Swifton, Arkansas; two brothers: Curtis Lighthart and wife Nancy of Sparta North Carolina and Herbert Lighthart of Winnebago, Illinois; four sisters: Rita Franks of Byron, Illinois, Brenda Carlson and husband Dale of Winnebago, Illinois, Sarah Johnson of Council Bluff, Iowa, and Anita Garrison and husband Bud of Kennett, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Lighthart was preceded in death by; his parents; his wife: Judy Gage Lighthart; one brother: Alan Lighthart; one sister: Sharon Lighthart. The family request private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
