Lowell Vowell, 92 of Knob, Arkansas passed away Friday March 15, 2019 at Ridgecrest Health and Rehab in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born December 18, 1926 in Knob, Arkansas to Luther and Jewell Huckaby Vowell. He enjoyed farming, it was a job that was the love of his life. Survivors include; three sons: Dennis Vowell (Kathy) of Paragould, Arkansas, Randy Vowell (Sandy) of Corning, Arkansas, Byron Vowell (Marsha) of Knob, Arkansas; one daughter: Joy Banning (Ronnie) of Marmaduke, Arkansas; one sister: Trella Rogers of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter in law: Kathy E. Vowell of Paragould, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Emma Jo Vowell; one son: Jerry Vowell; one sister: Delois Horton; one infant sister; one infant brother and a host of other family and friends. Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Purcell Cemetery, Marmaduke, Arkansas with Brother Jerry Suiter officiating under the direction of Faith funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Nathan Sanders, Wade Castleberry, Aaron Vowell, Denny Vowell, Ronnie Banning, and Marcus Vowell.
