Robert Haggard, 70 of Manila, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born September 20, 1948 in Michigan City, Indiana to Dorcie and Mary Frances Newman Haggard. He enjoyed life itself, taking trips, loved to eat, woodworking and landscapng. Survivors include; his wife: Joyce Haggard of the home; one son Chris Haggard (Marisol) of Manila, Arkansas; seven brothers: Glen, Mark, JT, Kenneth, Roger, Johnny and James Haggard; two sisters: Evelyn Defoe and Betty Sue Hargroves; nine grandchildren: Dustin, Landon, Trenton, Tyler, Josh, Zacharia, Taylor, Anna Kate and Aalyah; five great grandchildren: Bentley, Bailee, Stanton, Drexel and Nadia; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one daughter; Tonya Thomas; two brothers: Terry and Wayne Haggard. Funeral services will be Monday, March 18, 2019at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila, Arkansas with Pastor Troy Burrow officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery, Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors 11:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Grandsons: Dustin, Landon, Trenton, Tyler, Josh, and Zacharia.
