Blakelee Emerson Lewis

Blakelee Emerson Lewis, 7 month old, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. She was born January 30, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jessie and Kristi Bassett Lewis. Wonder Woman was her adopted mascot name because she was truly a little fighter. Survivors include her parents; two sisters: Whitney Jemison (E.J.) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kelsey Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother: Brayden Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri; one nephew: Liam Donati of St. Louis, Missouri; One Aunt: Mandy Bassett of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandparents: Robert Bassett, Patti Bassett both of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Brenda Ramthun of Paragould, Arkansas. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses from the CVICU at LeBonheur, for their outstanding and loving care of Blakelee. Also, for the kindness of the CVICU social worker, the LeBonheur Child Life Specialist, the Chaplain, and the Palliative Care Team. They were more than LeBonheur employees, they became friends as well. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Cathedral Baptist Church, 2706 Alexander, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Ken Beaver officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee in memory of Blakelee.
