Dallas Curtiss Cook

Dallas Curtiss Cook, 76 of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at his home, Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was born September 6, 1942 in Rivervale, Arkansas to Noah and Lottie Marie Smith Cook. He served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Tulot, Arkansas, he loved to fish, hunt and garden. Survivors include; his wife of fifty years: Bessie Faye Cook; two sons: Jeremy Cook and Stevie Cook both of Trumann, Arkansas; three daughters: Lorre Holt (Ron) of Trumann, Arkansas, Cindy Cook of Bono, Arkansas, Brenda Clapp of Kentucky; three brothers: Ernest Cook and Lonnie Cook both of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Ray Cook of Trumann, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Courtney Holt, Dylan Holt; April Holt; Stevie Cook, Jr., Holley Cook, Mallore Cook, Jonathan Cummings, Jessica Cummings, Eli Whitmire; four great grandchildren: Bentley Sloan, Lynlee Cook, Braxton Cook, Maxwell Cook; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two children: Vickye Cook and Lisa Williams; one brother: Estle Cook; two sisters: Edna Cook and Phylliss Cook. Pallbearers: Stevie Cook, Sr., Stevie Cook, Jr., Ron Holt, Dylan Holt, Elijah Sloan, Gene Cook. Funeral service will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Tulot, Arkansas with Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church at 11:30 p.m. until time for the service
