Jimmie Lee Sykes

Jimmie Lee Sykes, 58 of Black Rock, Arkansas passed away October 4, 2017 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. He was born December 18, 1958 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late Dudley and Elaine Jacobs Sykes. He enjoyed driving his Semi, and spending time with the grandkids. Survivors include; his wife of thirty five years: Teri Sykes, seven children: Jimmie Sykes of Fort Madison, Iowa; Jacob Guest of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Telissa Pirtle of Blytheville, Arkansas; Brandon Sykes of Pomona, Missouri; Angela Rece of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; Mary Whitlow and Johnathon Sykes of Black Rock, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren; one brother: Tommy Thompson of Summersville, Texas; one sister: Peggy Seagrist of Corpus Christi, Texas and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: John Thompson and David Sykes. The family has requested a private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
