Jeffery Morris

Jeffery Morris, age 58 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away August 30, 2016 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born September 1, 1957 in Manila, Arkansas, he was the son of Charles Clifton and Virgie Mae Bice Morris. Mr. Morris attended the Oak Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife: Gayle Morris of the home; daughter: Jamie Lee Morris and fiance’ Nick Rose of Paragould, Arkansas; his mother: Virgie Mae Morris; two grandsons: Sebastian and Maddox of Paragould, Arkansas; two step-grandchildren: James and Clara of Illinois; five brothers: Chris Morris and Vicky of Osceola, Arkansas, Anthony Morris and wife Debbie of West Plains, Missouri, Rodney Morris and wife Jonie of Oak Grove, Arkansas, Charles Ray Morris and wife Robin of Kansas and Matthew Morris of Oak Grove, Arkansas. Mr. Morris also leaves a host of other family and friends. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his father: Charles Clifton Morris; one son: Jason Eric Morris and a step-son: Larry D. Jordan II. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. David Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in the New Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 2:00pm until time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Chris Morris, Anthony Morris, Rodney Morris, Charles Ray Morris, Matthew Morris and Leonard Brewer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Ragsdale and Michael Watson.
