Thelma Jean Sanders

Thelma Jean Sanders, age 67 of Steele, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri. Born July 10, 1949 in Holland, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Betty Louise Crocker Crossno. Mrs. Sanders enjoyed going to church, reading the Bible and going to flea markets. She is survived by one son: Glen Sanders Sr., of Steele, Missouri; one grandson: Glen Sanders, Jr., of Gosnell, Arkansas; three brothers: Willie Crossno of Steele, Missouri, Robert Crossno of Steele, Missouri and Raymond Crossno of Cleveland, Mississippi; four sisters: Glenda Edwards of Tennessee, Shirley King of Samantha, Alabama, June Sanders of South Haven, Mississippi and Sue Hammonds of South Haven, Mississippi. Mrs. Sanders also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Burl Lee Sanders. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 12:00pm at the Life Worship Center, 423 Liberty Street, Steele, Missouri with Bro. Ralph Amerson officiating. The family will receive visitors Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 10:00am until service time at the church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Timothy Crossno, Brian Hammonds, Don Woods, Glen Sanders, Jr., Daniel Sanders and Bill Underwood.
