Doris Kay Crittenden

Doris Kay Crittenden, 61, of Hickory, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Ms. Crittenden was born on June 12, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Bobby Jo and Laura Ellen Goss Wells. Mrs. Crittenden was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed watching TV and taking care of her pets and plants. Survivors include; significant other: Larry Lutes of the home; one son: Jimmie Ray Crittenden, II of Hickory, North Carolina; one daughter: Michelle Richmond of Shelbyville, Indiana; six brothers: Robert Bolan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Henry Bolan of Caruthersville, Missouri, Donnie Bolan of Richland, Missouri, Terry Wells of Hayti, Missouri, Christopher Houston of Desert Hot Springs, California, and Tommy Bolan of Caruthersville, Missouri; three sisters: Patricia Wells Hinklin of Sevierville, Tennessee, Kathleen Jarred of Portageville, Missouri, and Beth Bolan Lancaster of Nashville, Tennessee; one grandson: Michael Crittenden; and a host of other family and friends. Ms. Crittenden was preceded in death by; her parents; five brothers: Richard Wells, Alan Wells, Wesley Wells, Joe Wells, and Gary Lee; two sisters: Brenda Lee and Katherine Metz. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Wesleyan Church, Caruthersville, Missouri with Bro. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the Caruthersville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday at the church from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
