Darlene Griggs

Mrs. Darlene K. Griggs, age 56 of Wynne, Arkansas, passed away September 26, 2015 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born August 27, 1959 in Wynne, she was the daughter of the late Farrest and Pansy Immel and was a longtime area resident. She enjoyed working in her yard, being outdoors, reading, cooking for her family and spending time with her two granddaughters Bailey and Tatum Ellis. She is survived by her husband; Peter Griggs of the home: three daughters; Kristy Cummings of Colt, Arkansas, Aleshia Morris and Nicole Morris both of Wynne, Arkansas; two brothers: Farrest Immel, Jr. and Tommy Immel both of Wynne, Arkansas; four sisters: Cathy Jacobs of Wynne, Arkansas, Barbie Immel of Wynne, Debbie Immel of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Janice Immel of Texas; grandchildren: Bailey and Tatum Ellis both of the home, Ashley and Tucker Cummings of Colt, Arkansas, Jeremy Bradshaw of Wynne, Arkansas, Brayden Creasey, Ryan Morris and Madelyne Creasey all of Wynne, Arkansas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Lelan Immel. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
