Sherry Sue Allen

Sherry Sue Allen, 73, flew away from this life on December 3, 2017. Born and raised in Cash, she stayed around the Jonesboro area and suburbs most of her life, and lived the past several years in Bono. Gone before her were her parents, one brother, Junior Allen, and a sister, Barbara Jones. She leaves behind three children; Monty (Leann) Huffman of West Plains, Mikki (Jerry) Cook of Egypt, and Cassie Tacker of Mountain Home; granddaughters Heather Hudson of Lincoln, NE, Samantha Huffman of West Plains, Erin Henson of Paragould; grandsons Brett Beaty and Reagen Tacker of Jonesboro, and Timothy Fling of West Plains ; six great-grandchildren; six beloved grand-dogs and one grand-cat. She enjoyed reading, computer work, tending to her flower beds, intricate adult coloring books, shopping with her daughters, visiting with friends and family, and playing with her grand-animals. At her request, there will be no visitation and the funeral will be private. Any donations can be sent to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House (St. Bernard's Foundation) in Jonesboro, where she spent her last several weeks. She said the facility felt "like home" and the employees were caring and amazingly attuned to her needs. Go in peace, Mother, you will surely be missed.
