Therald J. Martin

Therald James Martin, 83, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1934 in Mandalay, Arkansas to the late Elmer and Ada Mae Martin. He enjoyed riding around and sightseeing, gardening, being outdoors, and loved spending time with his friends and family.Survivors include the love of his life; Lavon Brown of the home; two sons: James Martin and Michael Martin both of Oklahoma; five step daughters: Teresa Brown of Caraway, Arkansas; Roxie Lambert of Michigan; Debbie Cotton of Trumann; Sandra Martin of Manila, Arkansas; Debbie Martin of Manila, Arkansas; two step sons: Terry Brown of Michigan; and Timothy Brown of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and son Ricky Martin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery, Caraway Arkansas, under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Friday evening at Faith Funeral Service Chapel, Manila, Arkansas from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
