Roxeen "Roxy" Gove
February 17, 1956 - July 7, 2024

On the morning of July 7, 2024 at 11:34 a.m. Jesus came and took Roxeen “Roxy” Gove by the hand and led her spirit home. A resident of Bay, Arkansas, Roxy was born on February 17, 1956 in Trumann, Arkansas to William Smallmon and Verda Raye Wicker. She was a member of the Salvation Ministries Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She loved worshiping Jesus, enjoying nature, loving animals, gardening, listening to music, dancing, nightly facetiming with her grandbabies, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; two daughters: Ashly Addison (Lucian Lynxwiler) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Tami Sanders (Darrell) of Paragould, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Cheyenne Ballow (Steven), Briar Barnhill (Haley Orman), Abigail Gray (Jordan Thompson), Chasyn and Ashton; four great grandchildren; one sister: Deborah Smallmon of Oklahoma; several bonus siblings; one niece: Krystle Kearns (Noel) of Oklahoma; several great nieces and nephews; and a her forever family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: William Smallmon and Verda Raye Wicker; bonus father: James C. McDole; and her grandparents: Raymond and Amy Smallmon and Elisha and Ethel Wicker. Celebrate the life of our wild one Roxy, on July 21, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Salvation Ministries (5071 AR-226 Spur – Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401) with Pastor Derrick Followell and Assistant Pastor Sammy Leisure officiating.

    sis Roxy was such a dear friend. she could light up a room with her smile as soon as she walked in anywhere. she had the most contagious laugh. she will be greatly missed but her memories will live on forever. i love you BIG sister until we need again????

    I am so sorry about Roxeen passing. She was a sweet lady, who was also my cousin. She was funny and always laughing and making. Others laugh. As cousins, we spent time together ,but as we got older, we went our separate ways. I loved her very much. RIPsweet lady.
