Freddie Wayne Edwards, 78, of Manila, Arkansas, passed away at Arkansas Continued Care. He was born on September 16, 1944 in Coloma, Michigan to Wesley and Frances Patton Edwards. He enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include; one daughter: Andrea Stone (Tony) of Manila, Arkansas; one son: Gary Edwards (Jannette) of Manila, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Jonathan Edwards, Chase Edwards, Tyler Lewis, and Valerie Stone; four great-grandchildren: Remi Lewis, Layla Stone, Avery Edwards, and Oliver Edwards; one sister: Cindy Brasfield (James) of Paragould, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Clarence and Frances Parks; his wife: Faye Edwards; one brother: C.J. Parks; and one great-grandson: Easton Stone. Pallbearers: Tony Stone, Jonathan Edwards, Chase Edwards, Tyler Lewis, and Justin Daniels. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Blackwater Church of God with Donnie Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
