Paula Gayle Birdsong, 73, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center on March 22, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1949 in Weona, Arkansas to James B. Timbs and Juanita Penley Timbs. She was a member of ember of the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She enjoyed being on the water, working with her flowers, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; one son: Larry Dale Birdsong of the home; one brother: Douglas Timbs (Susie) of Trumann, Arkansas; three sisters: June Goodin (Larry) of Trumann, Arkansas, Sherry Jordan (Tommy) of Trumann, Arkansas, Connie Weatherford of Trumann, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: James B. Timbs and Juanita Penley Timbs; loving husband: Dale Birdsong; three brothers: Albert “Buddy” Timbs, Richard Don Timbs, and Jimmy Ray Timbs; and three sisters: JoAnn Rouse Williams, Terri Jean Blackwell, and Patsy K. Lancaster. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 3:30 p.m. until service time under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
