Mildred McCurry

Mildred McCurry, 93, of Piggott, Arkansas passed away at General Baptist Nursing Home on May 9, 2022. She was born on July 10, 1928 in Lilbourn, Missouri to Jesse and Carrie Reeves Johnson. She enjoyed working in the garden, people watching, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; three children: Jeanetta Brodrick of Rector, Arkansas, Rodney J. McCurry (Vinda) of Piggott, Arkansas, Paula Gargus (Larry) of Rector, Arkansas; one brother: Paul Johnson; two sisters: Peggy Aaron, Lois Emmons; seven grandchildren: Robin Gunn (Anthony), Bo Brodrick (Bonnie), Jason Brodrick, Cody McCurry (Tiffany), Scott Stirnaman (Ami), Misty Strinaman, Jon McCurry (Autuam); fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other family and friends. Mildred is preceded in death by; loving husband: W.J. McCurry; four brothers: Edward Johnson, J.T. Johnson, Willard Johnson, David Johnson; three sisters: Margaret Kent, Virginia Henderson, Jean Ward; and one grandson: Ben Stirnaman. Pallbearers: Jon McCurry, Cody McCurry, Scott Stirnaman, Dustin Ormbsy, Bo Brodrick, Jason Brodrick. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Grift Walker officiating.
