Gary Dale Cox
February 28, 1952 - April 22, 2022

Gary Dale Cox, 70, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away at his home surrounded by family on April 22, 2022. He was born on February 28, 1952 in Rector, Arkansas to Everett and Fannie Cox. Gary always gave the best advice and always knew how to fix everything. He always worked hard and provided for his family, he worked until he couldn’t physically work anymore. Gary grew up with his five other siblings playing on the farm and enjoying his family. Gary has three sisters that always took care of him and thought that he did no wrong. His two brothers Mike and Brad kept him grounded as most brothers would. Mike set up an example for Gary to look up to and they carried that bond until his last breath. Gary then became a father to his first baby Cherie, He then went on to serve over seas in the Navy. After he came back, he married and had two boys, Daniel and Derick. Though he may not have been the perfect father then, he always prayed for his kids and tried to support them. Later in life Gary remarried to his present wife Kristy. He then took responsibility as a father to help raise her children Nikki and Trey who he provided for as his own. In 1998 child six was born. Seth was his father’s sidekick. In 2006 he has his last baby Grace. Grace and Gary were two peas in a pod. The children all have their different versions of Gary as a father but one thing that was constant was that he wanted them all to accept Jesus into their hearts. 70 years on this earth, many family members, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, wife, and many others were influenced in a positive way by Gary. He will be missed greatly by all. He was a good man and would tell us all to get right with Jesus!
